About me: I have stayed under 150 lbs after losing from 167 lbs to 145 last year. It was not hard. I didn't lose fast; nor did I deny myself, I ate most anything I wanted but small amounts-knew if I felt denied, I wouldn't stay w it. It would just make me want more. I did look for the least calories. It was like a budget, saving enough calories early in the day so I would have enough left to not be hungry in the evening. I didn't get hungry. I found a new way to eat. I tried to eat no more than 1200-1300 cal a day. Whenever I ate out, I ate about half -or 1/3 of any meal ,[took the rest home -often had several meals from it] and at home ate about the same small portions- just enough so I was not hungry. Then I ate more often; sometimes 5-6 x a day. I decided I need to resume counting calories, so I may lose a bit more.
