The plan is based on walking at a moderate pace of 3 MPH on a level, firm surface. Using the average step total of 2000 steps per mile, at this pace you will cover 3 miles / 6000 steps per hour and 21 miles / 42,000 steps per week.

Workout routine comments

i have about 20 to 25 pounds to loose, i am trying to get a least 10 pounds off before December 30th, i walk 5 days a week but when fridays come around we go out to the bars and drink and sometimes on a Saturday. i did good this weekend did not drink trying to stop because tat is were tthe csalories are, what can i do to speed up the process of getting at least 10 pound off now,

i have quit a bit of weight to loose, i plan on walking the 3 miles a day but should i do more like jumping jacks and the sort? i am doing this on my own so i need advice!

I like what sweetnjuicy wrote, I also need to get motivated again. I have all good intentions to hit my 10,000 step mark but the closest I have gotten is 6,220. I once saw a tag that said onward through the fog. I believe that will be my mantra now.
