Calories Burned:  544 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)
Instructions:
The amount of calories burned depends on the ramp position, resistance, speed and the circuit you use (either manual or programmed), as well as your weight. Many stair stepper machines also give you a guide that shows which part of the leg is being work by the position/program chosen, so this may also help to guide your workout.

+ NOTE: The amount of calories burned and METs (shown above) are based off of a routine burning approximately 110 calories/10 minutes

Read the instructions on the machine, ask a gym attendant or read over the machine manual for safety and try out different settings/options in order to find what works and feels right for you. Take appropriate measures for warming-up (pre-workout) and cooling-down (post-workout).

Heed all  warnings associated with selected machine(s)/exercise(s) and ALWAYS stop if you feel dizziness, nausea, excessive shortness of breath, chest pain, etc.
