Treadmill, 20 second sprints per minute

Calories Burned:  491 calories per hour   (based on a body weight of 150 lbs.)

Warm up by doing a 5 min. walk on the treadmill at about 3.6,
Reset your timer on the treadmill, then start with a slow jog about 5-5.4, jog for one minute, crank it up to a 6.7-8.0, depending on how fast you want to sprint.  Sprint for 20 seconds, then recover by walking fast or a slow jog 3.6 to 5.2.
Do this for 20 minutes,
Bursts of energy helps you burn Carbs faster.

The original Tabata Protocol requires the following:
5 minutes of warm-up
8 intervals of 20 seconds all-out intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest
2 minutes cool-down
