Directions:  
Steam the green beans in a basket over about 1-inch of boiling water for approximately 8 minutes or until they become a brighter shade of green. Melt 1 tbsp. of butter in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced shallots and sauté until they are translucent and the edges are golden brown. Add salt and pepper to taste. Place green beans in a serving bowl. tope with the remaining butter; toss to combine. Place cooked shallots on top.
