Directions:

Place yams in a large pot and fill with water to cover. Bring to a boil and then simmer for about 20 minutes or until yams are ready to eat. Put the potatoes in the water 5 minutes after the yams have begun to simmer. They will be done at the same time. Drain and let cool.

In a large bowl, combine the potatoes, yams, celery, and cucumber.

In a small bowl, mix together the rest of the ingredients.

When the potatoes have cooled, pour the dressing onto the potato mixture and combine until well blended.
