The calorie hmm... such a simple thing really. It is just a unit of measure. I am on a quest to find out what I can change to perfect my diet so that I may have the energy that I need and the body that I want :)

My mantra to get through a tough workout has been " I am better today than I was yesterday and not as good as I will be tomorrow". I really don't remember if that was something that was my original thought or if I read it in some fitness magazine years ago. Either way it helps. I have this crazy need to entertain my brain as I do the more "un-stimulating" exercises. Although I am always hooked to my Ipod, I still have a racing mind. Sometimes I wonder if I might achieve better results if I were...

I am the queen of "I am gonna". Today is the day that I did. Every morning I wake up and roll out of bed with this nagging thought that I have to go work out. It will keep me healthy, lean and somewhat energized. Just a part of the to do list.
It wasn't always that way but over the last 6 months I have had some sort of block. There was a time I couldn't wait to get up and hit the gym. I felt that way this morning..... I couldn't wait and it felt good :)
