Today is my 41st birthday and man do I feel good. I haven't worked out since Thursday and today I went and did a hour on the elliptical in the aerobic mode. It felt great, so I am back on track with my workouts and tracking my diet. I am going out tonight for my birthday but I will try to make good decisions while out. I will let you know tomorrow. Well I am trying to stay motivated. I dont really crave sweets or anything like that, so that doesnt seem to be my problem. I have this pound that I keep gaining and losing. I think once I get over this hurdle it will continue to go downhill from there. Just gotta get there. I havent been tracking my meals since Thursday and I have worked out since Thursday. Here I am feeling a little down because on Saturday I was down to 257 and then I gained on Sunday and Monday. This fluctuation is killing me slowly. Getting on the scale daily is an addiction and sometimes I feel so defeated if the numbers don't go the way I want them to especially when I am following my diet and exercising. This is my 3rd week and I still doing well. The weekend was good because I had no temptation of chocolate or things like that. On Sunday, my son and I went to IHOP for breakfast. I did really well because I ate off of the healthy menu which consisted of scrambled egg substitutes, 2 slices of turkey bacon and 2 pancakes. It was a total of 400 calories. I was really proud. I didn't do too well this weekend. Weekends are the hardest for me to follow what I have done all week. One is I go out and drink, not to mention eating White Castles late at night. Yesterday, I ate one meal and then a few wings later on that night plus one drink. Either I need to stop going out or I need to come up with a plan on the weekends.
