Description: Great comfort food without too many calories. Great for a winter meal.
Ingredients:  Makes 8 servings (8 cups)
1  lb.
1-1/2  cups
1  cup
28  ounces
19  ounces
15  ounces
3  tablespoons
2  teaspoons
2  tablespoons
1/8  teaspoon
1/8  teaspoon
1-1/2  tablespoons
1  cup

Cook beef in a large stock pot until no longer pink
Add diced onions, diced peppers, finely chopped garlic, spices and brown sugar
Add Tomato Sauce and Canned diced tomatoes
simmer for 15 minutes on Med Low
Add the beans and simmer for another 20 minutes
If it's too thick you can add in 1 cup of beef broth
Optional garnishes- sour cream, grated cheese, croutons, taco chips
