Monday, February 7. Beginning the fourth week of this diet. I have recorded everything. Exercised. Read motivational material, health articles. Consistent. Committed. And got a measley net loss of two pounds for my trouble. I do feel more fit and flexible. I feel thinner. The scales say NO! My next action is to reduce the target daily calorie amount today and will see if that triggers a little faster loss. Okay. I am off and running with my new plan. Also I am trying to eat higher v...

Marriott's Misery

Are my scales broken? Do I need to throw them into the driveway and run over them a time or two? Okay, maybe not, but the number has not changed in a week. A WEEK!! I am not tempted to cheat, have no cravings, and enjoy the wonderful (almost) vegetarian food that I serve. My calories etc. are on target; I exercise regularly and vigorously. So what is the deal? Maybe tomorrow.

Two Weeks - Four Pounds

Okay, doing well so far. This site is terrific and I cannot believe it lists even the most obscure foods. I have a small issue with adding the exercise information because I do primarily Silver Sneaker classes @ the Y in muscle strength, aerobic and range of motion. I don't really care about the deduction from total calories but I do want to keep a record of exercise to see the consistency and possibly the impact. Suggestions anyone? Silver Sneakers should be added because they are at Y's ...
