End of week 2 and 8 pounds gone. That's encouraging but I know the weight loss will slow down soon. That will be the real test of willpower when the scale seems to barely move each week. But so far so good.

I think this is a very good site for tracking daily meals and so easy to use. I am impressed with the calorie counting food base and haven't found anything that's not in the data bank. Nothing trips me up more than something that's too time consuming to do. So this site get two thumbs up.

Ending week one and more angry with myself than anything. Just why didn't I do something about my extra pounds sooner? How can some areas in my life be so controlled and successful when other people's wellbeing depend on it?
It seemed easy this week to say 'no' to the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies my daughter made or to walk past the sugar filled isles at the grocery. So maybe, willpower isn't the issue, Taking...

60 pounds overweight (more if you use some weight charts) and I turned 60 a couple months ago. WOW ! Which is worse? At least I can do something about one of those things.
Just wonder if I am motivated enough. Where does willpower come from anyway? If anyone knows I could sure use some.
Is willpower a combination of self esteem and determination? I think I must have low self esteem if I let myself gain 75 pou...
