Well, after a 3 week hiatus I'm back at it. I got a really bad cold and laryngitis that kept me from doing anything, much less run. I feel better now, but still not completely over it all. Hopefully soon I will get rid of all this gunk. Anyway, this through the whole schedule off! Luckily I still have time to train. I wasn't able to run in the 10K we registered for though, :( so I've signed up for a 15K a little closer to home; the Bold in the Cold Run in Grapevine on January 7, so that's someth...

Today's run was fairly uneventful, with the exception of one event. I face-planted. I'm just running along, apparently not paying enough attention to the trail, step in a crack and bam! I'm on the ground! Skinned my hands, arm and a leg, also sort of twisted my good ankle. All this happened a little over 2 miles in, so I'm that far from my car and still have at least another 3 miles to go. Not a good feeling.
