It's been a bad day today for sticking to a diet. To be honest yesterday wasn't much better. I'm a writer, and after having a crash of my computer with a loss of a story 2 days before deadline I had to really get my brain on and get typing. So my eating plan went out of the window.

Still it's done and submitted. Now I can return to my plan and write without panic. I'm determined not to give in. :)

The Spice of Life

They say variety is the spice of life and I had a lightbulb moment today when I realized it is the key to weight loss.

Like many others I have been on dozens of diets in the past wherethe food choice has been unvaried and boring. WHAT?? An instant doorway to failure! This is my second day on my new plan and unlike in the past when on day 2 I had given up, it's going to work.

 Stick with me on this and use your brain. Look at what fruit and veg are in season,

Today's the day

After a bad day yesterday, I begin my diet today and my aim is to lose 2lb this week. Due to a disability I can't exercise much at the moment so am concentrating on diet.

I'm working out my own hopefully well balanced healthy eating plan with a lot of fresh ingredients. I have also joined a few challenges and set up one of my own.
