Why is it that men loose weight so much more quickly than woman. We have an extra layer of fat, so you would think it would go like this. More to loose=faster loss. Oh well. The important thing is that I am down 8 lbs in two weeks...even if my husband is down 15 lbs in the same amount of time.

In the past my way of dealing with stress was chocolate. Now I have to come up with something new. I am a full time mom of five, a full time student with 14 credit hours, a wife, and I lead worship once a month at church.
Maybe my new stress managment will come in the form of knowing that I am loosing weight. It's not that much...5.1 lbs so far...but it's better than going up more and more.

I first realized that I had a weight problem in the seventh grade when I had to lay on my bed to make my pants zip up. After that I became slightly aware of my body's need to be maintained.
Then I started having babies. My first little bundle came just before my 22nd birthday and six month before my 30th my final baby was born. I have five in all. My husband and I said that's enough and had the surgon take care of things for us.
