This is the last week of bootcamp! Only four people showed up today out of 14 or so in the class. The instructor on Tuesday and Thursday is not most people's favorite, but she really had her act together better than the last couple of weeks. She has a hard time giving clear instructions, and I think the last week typically has a lot of no-shows.

Fitness bootcamp week three: or, hitting the wall and how to deal with it.
This has been by far the most physically intense time I've had since two-a-days in high school. Working a million doubles at the restaurant, moving stuff up and down three flights of stairs, nothing I can think of in recent memory has left me as exhausted as this four-day-a-week bootcamp. I recently signed up for Meetup.com looking for a book club or some other dorky thing like that. While browsing, I found a group that meets a few times a week locally and plays Ultimate Frisbee. I went to the first ever all women's game on Saturday, and it was awesome! The skill levels varied considerably, but it was laid-back enough that everyone got to play and enjoy themselves. Alright, I'm 30. I turned the big 3-0 about six months ago, and I want to be healthier at 31 than on my last birthday. That means work.
I've learned a few things about myself. I enjoy working out in groups or with other people. One on one training is great, but it's spendy.
