So its been a while, eh?
Anyway Ive lost 18 pounds so far and others are noticing. Im kinda lax now but this is not the time to be so I will do better. Long way to my goal still but when I was excercising so much in the beginning I was unhappy. Now I just watch my calories and excercise every other day. Im going to a strength and toning class too. Hello.
Well my weight loss has been steady and Ive amped up my walking to 3 miles. I have my next small goal to look forward to. I do however need to increase strength training on my legs. Im a pear shape so my legs are really heavy right now and too much weight to run on. Any suggestions on what to do besides squats and lunges???(which drives me crazy, HA!) Hello!
I finally made it to my first 10 pounds lost. I feel numb. Im am excited but it has been hard. Im more excited that others around me are helping now. I have 2 walking buddies and my mom is even concerned about my eating now. (Hers is another story!) I still have a long way to go but Im still looking forward to the journey! Til tomorrow, M-

Hello!
I struggled through my workout today! Ugh! But my body feels much better after doing it. Ive been having some trouble with bloating and digestion so I am going to try to cut dairy. For someone who LOOOOVEEESSSS cheese, this is going to be kinda hard but Im tired of feeling sick to my stomach all the time. Heck, I even love cottage cheese and no one really likes that! Recovering after falling off the wagon. After working this whole weekend I ended up eating fast food because it was provided for us. After that my body went into overdrive wanting pizza and instead of listening to it and just giving myself some leaway to just have it, I ended up eating everything else instead and I mean everything! So I weighed in this weekend and it was a BUST!
Nothing was lost this week and I actually gained 3 pounds!!! Today was a dvd day so I did the Walk Away the Pounds video along with some core exercises. Although this is a simple workout to do it ALWAYS makes me sore. Funny right? I cant believe it's been 50 days! I have wanted to throw the scale out my car window on most days, or scream or starve, or anything to make this weight come off faster! HA! But in the process, I've gained confidence, structure and the motivation I need to keep going. Now I actually want to do this and I am gaining better health and building my faith!
