Time away

So I have spent about 10 days away from fitclick due to a combination of traveling and not having consistent access to the internet. Time crunch

Here were are about 2 weeks into my weight loss and I'm experiencing a major time crunch: finals week. I'm finding myself so busy with studying for exams and lab practicals and putting together final presentations that eating well and exercising are starting to fall by the wayside. So I've been using fitclick for a little over a week now and I'm starting to fall into the habit of entering food that I've eaten and workouts that I've done which makes it feel like less of a chore. I really like that, even if I do slip and eat something not so great or skip a workout, I'm held accountable. So it's my second day keeping a food diary on here and I already feel like it's something that's going to become a hassle. I love how keeping a journal holds me accountable for what I eat and how it helps me see what kind of an impact exercise is having on my weight. Starting out...

So my boyfriend and I have decided to get in shape and start eating better for an upcoming trip to the shore (and beyond). I'm finding that it's much easier said than done and this is not my first attempt at trying to shed some lbs (I weigh about 135 and would like to get down to 125). I think that one of my big problems is that I really have no idea how many calories I eat each day which is what drew me to this site. I think that being able to keep a food diary will really help me stay on track...
