About me: A yoyo dieter since I was a senior in high school, I finally hit a brick wall in 2006 after gaining 28 pounds in one year (coincidentally, the first year my exhusband and I were together -- could that man cook!). After the doctor threatened medication for cholesterol and told me that I was prediabetic, I joined Curves. The best thing about going to Curves was my hips didn't hurt anymore, and I thought that was just a requisite part of getting older!
In 2009 I heard about and began the Curves Weight Management program. It made SO much sense to me. Sure enough, I plateaued after a week on Phase 2, each time I got there. I spent much of the last quarter of 2009 in Phase 3 retraining my metabolism. IN January, I began losing weight. I broke through a 3 year plateau!
Now, I am a true Curves believer. I (who used to HATE exercise) will go to Curves forever! :)
