Just checking in. Life just continues to get in the way of keep my blog up-to-date.
But the good news is that I have lost 7 lbs since Jan 1, 2011.
I have been trying to get on my gazelle every day, but currently have been running to the hospital to take care of a friend there, and time runs out.

Oh yes, here it is day 14, so what happened? Life got in the way. Bashed my foot into some furniture not once, but twice -- I decided I should give it a rest. So I will start back with my walking on Saturday. Work has been stressful and I have been in a bit of a funk. Did not keep track of my diet for 4 days. Well, I did have a pretty good day. I am finding it hard to get enough protein in and yet keep everything balanced. I did stay within the calorie allowance, and I did get in exercise this evening. I think I'm going to have to try to do morning exercise as the evening walks take a big chunk out of my life. Hmmmm will have to think on this Jenn :)

It is the morning of day 8 - so what did I accomplish last week? I exercised most days, and tracked my food intake every day. The result? Having done the "got to eat the stuff in the house \ waste not want not" thing, I had gained 3 lbs by day 2, but by this morning I had lost 5 lbs, translating to a recorded loss of 2 lbs. at the end of Week 1. Well - here I am - Day 7. I am on my eating plan so far today, and I got in a longer walk than I expected - so very happy with that. My breakfast did tide me over to the lunch break - which was good. Oh dear, I forgot to blog yesterday. Must be because I was having a not really great day. Nonetheless, I did get some exercise in - worked out to part of a step aerobic tape - but got pooped out and crashed on my couch.
